    Why Use Quick Find? 

    The Matters Custom Tab holds valuable data that can speed up your search process significantly. By using Quick Find, you can search by any of the fields available in the Custom Tab, making it easier to pinpoint the specific information you need. 

    Step-by-Step Guide 

    Step 1: Access the Quick Find View 

    • In the Shortcuts pane, click Quick Find  

    Step 2: Select a Field for Your Search 

    • Click the Search by drop-down menu in Quick Find. 

    • You’ll see a list of all available fields from the Custom Tab.  

    • Select the field you’d like to search by (e.g., client reference number, Jurisdiction, Litigation Hold). 

    Step 3: Enter Your Search Criteria 

    • Type your search term or value into the Search For field.  

    • Click Search to see filtered results or hit “Enter” to execute the search. 

    Step 4: Customize Your View 

    • Want to see more specific information in the search results? Use the Select Columns to Show feature to customize the columns displayed in the search grid. 

      • Click Select Columns to Show. 

      • Choose the fields you’d like to include in your search results. 

    • Click anywhere away from the column selector, and the grid will update to display your selected columns. 

    Step 5: Review the Search Results 

    • Your results will now be filtered and displayed in the search grid. 

    • The selected columns in your personalized view make it easier to find the details you need.
